July-February 2024-25

Following on from the Festival for Humanities Education we were invited to help facilitate three zine workshops aimed at gathering stories from Refugees living in London. Based in Greenwich, Lewisham and Barnet, participants from Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Vietnam, Ukraine and Nigeria created colourful zines in a supportive, creative and stimulating environment. The stories we created, contributed to the outputs of a wider Project considering Migrant Health and Wellbeing a collaboration between Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), Middlesex University (Mdx), University of Greenwich working with a project team of partners including East of England Local Government Association – Strategic Migration Partnership (EELGA SMP), Great Yarmouth Refugee Outreach and Support (GYROS), Cambridge Refugee Resettlement Campaign (CRRC), Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI), Migration Works CIC, Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network (LRMN) and Barnet Citizens.
